Keep checking back for more updates!
More trips, thanks Jay! More info coming as I get it. As with the other trips, if there's enough interest, we'll subsidize the trip. What does this mean? If you get a group of friends together and want to go, let us know and we'll help you pay for it!

The official UTM Ski Trip is scheduled for January 23rd 2004 to Blue Mountain
Last year we had 177 people from UTM; this year we want to hit 200!
Cost: approximately $15 per UTM student, includes lift and transportation.
Non-UTM students pay $5 more.
There are only 165 spaces available on the bus.
If you want to drive up the cost is only $10 per person, guests pay $15.
We are capping the number who drive up at 35
Need Equipment? $13 for skis, $24 for boards or blades. Boots are included.
Tickets will go on sale first week of January at ECSU and will sell out fast!
Thanks to everyone who showed up for the meeting! There were some great ideas tossed around and we are definitely heading in the right direction for a year full of great events.
Keep checking back, we plan to book the presentation room in the next few weeks to check out the new Mack Dawg Snowboard video. Anyone who wants to come is welcome, and you all can buy raffle tickets for a chance to win the DVD at the end of the show.
We may go and hit a hand rail at an undisclosed location this Sunday. If anyone wants to come, email Lucas. Leave the snow and rail up to us, but we need some people to help us shovel!

THERE IS A FOOD DRIVE FOR ALL CLUBS ON NOW
We are looking for new toys, non-perishable food items and new clothes, with major needs for baby food, new toys for both infants and older children, winter clothing, baby clothing, and boots or shoes. There is a point system to count how much clubs are donating. If you have the receipt, please bring that to me during my office hours with your items and I will check it off, as each dollar will be counted for 1 point. If there are no receipts for some or all items, it will be under the ECSU clubs commissioner discretion based on size of item, estimated dollar value and need for points.
Then at a ceremony in the Student Centre on Dec.5th, we will be donating all the items from the UTM Food/Xmas drive to the Salvation Army. The club who has the most points will be announced. The winning club will get, courtesy of ECSU, a $150 prize that will go towards any event the club holds this year. And, courtesy of SAC, the winning club will also get an iMAC computer. Come on guys, $150 could go a long way towards subsidizing a trip for all of us...
